Sales & Marketing Assistant (Kickstart Scheme)

Position Details

Location:  Home Based (with occasional travel to Gerrards Cross office)

Hours:  25hpw, 6-month placement

Supervisor Title:  Founder & Director

Pay & Benefits:  National Minimum Wage (must be on Universal Credit), Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme, 5.6 weeks Annual Leave (pro rata), Flexible Work Pattern, Parking, Sick Pay

Role Summary

The role will be focussed on providing sales and marketing support to build awareness of Company brand and increase customer base.  This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to contribute to the growth of HR FiiT whilst gaining experience, knowledge and skills working in a growing business.  

Responsibilities

  • Understand business goals and objectives.

  • Actively seek new sales and marketing opportunities.

  • Increase sales through outreach to potential customers via phone, email and in person.

  • Support sales generation through building connections and leads.

  • Support content marketing to generate new customers (e.g., newsletter, website, copy, blogs).

  • Plan, create and post engaging social media content with a view to grow audiences and drive sales.

  • Support preparation, setup, and attendance of trade shows and exhibitions.

  • Attend networking events to build networks and represent the Company.

  • Gather and analyse data to identify trends for business improvement (social media, rankings, web analytics etc.)

  • Ensure data is collected, processed, and stored in compliance with data privacy requirements.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Sales or Marketing graduate preferable but not essential.

  • Practical experience using social media platforms.

  • Creative writing, editing and presentation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Results orientated with a proactive approach.

  • Ability to form relationships quickly.

  • Comfortable working flexibly and autonomously.

  • Fast learner and self-starter.

  • Strong literacy skills with attention to detail.

To be eligible for the Kickstart programme you will also need to be:

• Aged 16 – 24 yrs old

• In receipt of Universal Credit

• Eligible to work in the UK
